The focus of our tours is the art, culture and people of Ghana. We take small groups and build the itinerary around the participants' interests. We specialize in village stays. This is not a tour for people who want to look out the window of a tour bus.

PACKAGE 1
Eastern Region Cruise Tour 1
(Day Trip)
Visit the Dam site, one of the largest hydroelectric power supply sources in the world. The Volta Lake that is dammed is said to be the greatest man-made lake in the world in terms of area. Cruise on the Volta Lake to Dodi Island with culturalperformances and with lunch served on board. Afterlunch, cruise back to Akosombo then depart for Accra.

Eastern Region Tour 2
(1 Night/2 day tour)
Tour begins after lunch. The first stop is the Kpong dam site for a brief tour. Depart for Akosombo to check into Volta Hotel. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing night cruise on the
Volta Lake, with dinner and music on board. The Volta Dam site is toured the following day after breakfast. Enjoy your lunch and depart for Accra.

PACKAGE 3
Volta Region Adventure Tour
(3 Days/2 Nights tour)
Day 1
Depart Accra to Sogakope and visit an ostrich farm(the largest bird on earth).
Have lunch at Villa Cisneros Resort and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Proceed through the border town of Aflao to the Volta Regional Capital, Ho.
Check into hotel.
Day 2
Depart to the Wli waterfalls at Hohoe. The refreshing water is good for swimming.
Have barbrcue lunch and depart to Tafi Monkey Sanctuary. Return to Hotel.
Day 3
Depart to Akosombo and tour dam site. Lunch is at the Volta Hotel.

Ashanti Region Tour 1
(3 Days/2 Night tour)
Day 1
Depart hotel after breakfast for Kumasi, capital city of the Ashanti Region.
Check into hotel and have lunch. After lunch, visit the National Cultural Centre for a conducted tour and participation in a workshop and do-it-yourself sessions. Return to hotel.
Day 2
Visit the Palace Museum and the craft villages.

Day 3
Check out of hotel, and drive to Lake Bosumtwi. Lunch at the Lakeside Restaurant and proceed to Accra.

Ashanti & Northern Region Tour
(6 Days/5 Night tour)
Day 1
Depart to Tamale with a stop at Kumasi for lunch. Overnight at Tamale.
Day 2
Early the following morning, drive to the Mole Game Reserve. Have lunch and a two-hour hike into the reserve.
Day 3
Depart from hotel and visit the Larabanga Mosque and a mystery stone.
Proceed to Kintampo waterfalls for a barbecue lunch or visit Buabeng Fiema Sanctuary.
Proceed to Kumasi and check into hotel.
Day 4
Visit  Palace Museum and Okomfo Anokye sword site. Have lunch and relax for rest of the day.
Day 5
Visit craft villages for shopping and tour the cultural centre.
Day 6
Depart to Lake Bosumtwi. Have lunch and depart for Accra.

Accra City Tour
We take you sightseeing and shopping in Accra which became Ghana's capital in 1877.
Accra is a bustling, modern metropolis where you can get good bargains (you must bargain) on textiles, baskets, craft, jewellery and other souvenir items. Visit the W. E. B. Du Bois Centre for Pan African Culture, the National Museum, the Arts Centre, Kwame
Nkrumah  Mausoleum and the Makola Market.

Aburi Gardens Tour


This tour takes you first to Ghana's premier centre for higher education, the University of Ghana, Legon, then a breathtaking ride up the Aburi mountain to the Aburi Botanical Gardens for a relaxing tour. Have lunch and depart for Accra. Shopping at the Centre for National Culture.

Central Region Tour 1
(2 Days/ 1 Night)
Day 1
Tour one of the World Heritage Monuments - The CapeCoast Castle or the Elmina Castle. Lunch is served at a cosy beach resort. Depart for Brenu Beach for relaxation and swimming.
Day 2
Visit Kakum Nature Park and an adventure on the canopy walkways ( there are seven of them).Visit an ostrich farm and have lunch at Hans Cottage Botel. Leave for  Accra.

PACKAGE 9
Central Region Tour 2
(Artisanal)


The tour takes you first to Winneba to visit the Ekem Ceramics who produce unusual and beautiful dishes, vases, decorative tiles, etc. have fun watching them at work. Visit the Kente weaving centre and watch them produce the national cloth on the traditional looms.
Travel to Cape Coast and visit the ITTU Centre and watch students at work making the tye and dye and batik cloth. After lunch the tour takes you on to Elmina where you
can watch traditional wig (ntekuwa) making and hair dressing. Return to Accra.

PACKAGE 10
Central Region Tour 2
(Ecological)
The tour takes you to Kakum and Assin Attandanso Nature Reserve which is a 350 sq km. Nature park. Trained park guides will explain the medicinal value of many trees.
Watch out for the over 300 species of birds in the forest. You may catch a glimpse of the forest elephant! Have lunch and visit an ostrich farm. Depart for Accra.

PACKAGE 11
7 DAYS TOUR PACKAGE
DAY 1
ACCRA CITY TOUR


After breakfast and orientation, depart at 9.am. A visit to the Arts Center to have a
glimpse of unique African arts and handicrafts. Purchases can also be made here. Group
can then proceed to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Center, National Museum, the Makola Market to see the skills of Ghanaians at buying and selling, and their bargaining power. Stop for lunch at a Ghanaian restaurant. Continue with a tour of the W.E.B Du Bois Centre, then the University of Ghana, Legon.
DAY 2
Depart at 9am after breakfast for Akosombo – the largest man-made lake in the world.
View its breath – taking scenic surroundings and structures, one of the biggest Dams is
Africa. Drive through Tema to view where the imaginary Greenwich Meridian line
passes. Stopover at the Adomi Bridge. Tour of the Akosombo Dam and Port Lunch at the
Volta Hotel overlooking the Volta Lake. Return to Accra.
DAY 3
CAPE COAST & ELMINA CASTLES
Depart 8:am to Cape Coast after breakfast. A visit to the Cape Coast Castle, where most
of the slaves sent to the Americas were kept before being sent to their destinations. This
Castle has been designated World Heritage Monument by the World Heritage foundation under the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) . View the slave Dungeons, cells, chains, canons, mortars and other relics. You would undoubtedly be overwhelmed by this important historic structure in Africa. At the Elmina Castle, few minutes drive from Cape Coast, built in 1482, is the place where Christopher Columbus spent three days and three nights en route to discover the New World. EVENING – Cultural drumming and dancing at the Cape Coast Castle. Be a part and
experience the overwhelming ritual of “DOOR of NO RETURN” .

DAY 4
CAPE COAST – KAKUM NATURE PARK
Departure at 9:00am straight to the Nature Park – nature at its best. Trees over 40 meters
tall, medicinal (proven) plants effective for treating snake bites, piles, etc. You will love
to see the only tree the vulture builds its nest in. Then there is the tree that was used in the
olden traditional judicial system “ for trial by ordeal”. Also in this forest is hardest fruit in
the world, breakable only by an elephant’s jaw! Watch elephants, monkeys, duikers etc.
in their natural environs – a real feast for the eco – tourist. Lunch at the Elmina hotel
Afternoon – city tour of Cape Coast – the seat of the British administration the then Gold
Coast until the administration was moved to Accra on March 19th, 1877. Return to hotel.
Overnight in Cape Coast.
DAY 5
KUMASI
Breakfast.
Departure at 9:00am to Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region – Popularly known as
the home of Gold in ancient times and the Garden city of West Africa. See chieftancy
with its elaborate rituals, durbars and accompanying paraphernalia. The bedrock of
Ghana’s culture could be seen here. A visit to to the Asantehene, ( Ashanti King)
Manhyia Palace will leave a lasting impression on you. Lunch at a Ghanaian restaurant.
View the Brass Pan of Independence which caused the 1697-1699 war between the
Ashantis and Denkyiras.
Overnight in Kumasi.
DAY 6
Breakfast.
Departure at 9:00am to Ntonso village where the “Adinkra” cloth the funeral cloth for the
Ashantis are manufactured. From there you will be taken to the Ehwiaa village to meet
skillful carvers who make quality carvings of all shapes and sizes from wood, solid rock
and ivory. Lunch.
Afternoon – The best is always kept for the last. A visit to Bonwire the kente weaving
village will astonish you for good. You will witness first hand the rich Ghanaian kente
cloth being woven on looms manually by very skillful men and women.
Dinner and overnight.
DAY 7
Breakfast. Departure to Obuasi on of the world’s biggest Gold Mine. There will be undergroundtours to see how Gold is extracted. Return to Kumasi for some shopping. Depart to Accrathe next day

Coastal Tour of Ghana

This tour takes you across the Southern, Central, and Western coastal regions of Ghana.

DAY 2  
The Central Region: Elmina and Cape Coast
Depart to Cape Coast and Kakum National Park. There are many popular tourist attractions, such as the Canopy Walk, one of four in the world but the only one in Africa; this wooden rope footbridge suspends 350m long above the forest floor. Lunch at Hans Cottage Hotel, the stilted restaurant built over a crocodile pond. Toss some bread in the water and the crocodiles will surface.  After lunch we take a guided tour of one of the historical UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Elmina Castle built in 1492 or Cape Cost Castle & Museum, once Europe’s trade post and later used for the slave trade.

Depart for one of Ghana’s least explored travel highlights, Nzulezu Stilt Village, situated on a fresh water lake. A dug out canoe helps you across to the village. Meet the people and learn about their history.  Take a visit to the historical seaport town of Dixcove

An opportunity to visit the vibrant city of Accra. Visit the sites of Accra, Independence Circle, and Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the Independence Square. Visit The Art Center and Craft Market  Pass through the busy Makola market renowned as the largest open market in West Africa

Lakes and Falls (2 days/1 night)
Day 1:
 Dodi Island
We will drive northeast through the semi-Savannah vegetation to Akosombo, arriving in time to join the "MV Dodi Princess" for a cruise on Lake Volta to Dodi Island. Lunch on board with live band music. Overnight at Volta Hotel.
Day 2:
Wli Falls
After breakfast we will proceed to Hohoe in the Volta Region. Enroute we will stop at Dr. Noamesi's Herbal Research Centre for a briefing on traditional methods of healing. We will continue to Wli Falls where we will cross the eleven log bridges of the River Agumatsu. Lunch will be at the pool side. The rest of the afternoon will be spent here relaxing. Return to Accra late afternoon.

PUBERTY RITES CEREMONY  TOUR


This is a female coming of age ceremony performed by the Krobo. This is an opportunity to observe a traditional ritual. The Krobo are famous for their beads and this tour will include a visit to the bead market and beadmakers workshop. Also a way to see village life along the shore of Lake Volta. Meet the Queen Mother and enjoy a performance by traditional Krobo dancers.

TEACHERS TOUR
This is for teachers or those interested in the educational system in Ghana. We will arrange meetings with teachers-visits to schools-meetings with curriculum planners and others in the field of education. You can arrange an exchange between your students and a class in Ghana, write your unit on Africa and collect materials for your classroom.

 PANAFEST TOUR
Panafest is a cultural event dedicated to enhancement of the ideals of Pan-Africanism and the development of the African continent. THE SLAVE ROUTE TOUR


A black history tour for all. A spiritual journey for the African American. An encounter to hear stories of the slave trade as handed down by ancestors to their descendants. Ghana is the only African country where the story of slavery is intact. In a 10 or 14 day tour we will take participants through monuments and sites with lectures by renowned historical scholars and researchers. The tour will be either in Ghana or with her West African neighbors of Togo and Benin. Recommended for student groups, scholars, churches and senior citizens.
