When to Go?
The climate
Ghana has a tropical climate. Day time temperatures are hot! The rainy seasons are in May-June and September in the South with a longer rainy season in the North. July, August and the beginning of October will be showery

Costs for school trips are usually for transport and accommodation, breakfast and evening meal

ACCOMODATION
There are two type of accommodation arrangement.
Homestay: students live together with Ghanaian families to feel the Ghanaian hospitality
Tourist apartment: students lives in apartment building on their own.

Flights
You will need to book your own flights but please discuss this with us.
From the UK: BA flies daily from Heathrow.
No jet lag as Ghana is GMT
From Europe: Direct flights to Accra with several European carriers e.g. KLM, Lufthansa
From USA: North American Airline direct, other airlines via Europe
Transport in Ghana
· We will meet you at the airport
· Arrange all your accommodation and travel.
· Provide you with minibuses and driver for your trip to and from work and to tour the country
Other Important Information
Visas: These are required.
Health: Yellow fever certificates are required.
Other vaccinations will be recommended by your doctor. It is advisable to take anti Malaria tablets
